Apple Sends Invitations to September 9 Media Event

Apple has sent out invitations to their upcoming media event. As we predicted earlier this month, the iPhone 6s event will be held on September 9. This year, it’s going to be located at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California.

The invitation itself offers little to no clues as to what we’re going to see. The background is purple with different colored Apple logos on the bottom. We don’t really think this is a hint towards a new iPhone 6c, because Apple makes a lot of their invitations colored. The caption at the bottom says “Hey Siri, give us a hint.” This is pretty much our only clue. If you ask Siri that question she will only say that there is an event happening on the 9th. We suspect that this means that we’ll see a new iPhone (which we pretty much already know).

At this year’s event we’re expecting to see the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, new Apple TV, and maybe some new iPads. We can confirm that Apple is planning on live streaming the event online, for those who couldn’t make it.
