Not much of a surprise but Xcode confirms 2GB of RAM for the 6s (and 6s plus), and 4GB for the iPad Pro pic.twitter.com/X8Ym4DtamS

As discovered by developer Hamza Sood, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus now have 2GB of RAM. It has also been found that the iPad Pro has 4GB of RAM. There were many rumors as to whether Apple would add another GB of RAM to the iPhone 6s and it seems as if they did.
In a press release by Adobe last week, they stated that the iPad Pro has 4GB of RAM. Shortly after they removed that statement, but it looks like Adobe was correct in saying that there is 4GB of RAM installed.
This is a really great thing. It means that you can have more apps open at once without having anything to restart, pages reload, and any lagging. Apple didn’t mention any of this at their media event, but they never do anyway. We usually have to wait until the devices come out and someone (usually iFixit) opens it up. Now we all know for sure.
