Apple Releases OS X El Capitan

Apple has today released OS X El Capitan, version 10.11. After a whole summer of beta testing we are now finally getting the public version. This update can be downloaded from the Mac App Store. There’s a big banner on the homepage so you can’t miss it. And as always, this is a free update. It is a fairly large download so expect it to take some time.

This update brings many new improvements over the last version. It includes the ability move the curser fast and it will get larger so you can find it easier, Spotlight improvements, new split-screen multitasking like Windows, performance improvements, same Notes app features as iOS 9, Mail improvements, and more. You can learn about everything that’s new here.
