Apple Announces 2015 Hour of Code Workshops

Apple has announced that they will once again be hosting the “Hour of Code” workshop in their stores this year. Every year from December 7-13 is the Computer Science Education Week, and Apple celebrates it by giving free coding classes to students. This was started by Code.org and was adopted by Apple and their retail stores a few years ago.

Most Apple stores will be doing these coding classes, using Code.org’s online games. However, a few stores around the world will be having special appearances from different local developers and organizations.

Registration is now open for students ages 6 and up. Parents can sign their kids up here.
