Apple Releases iOS 9.2.1 to the Public

Apple has today released iOS 9.2.1 to the public. This is the first minor update to iOS 9.2 since it was released a few months back. 9.2.1 has been through three betas before its launch today.

In this update we see some minor bug fixes, improvements, and security updates. Mainly, this version includes a fix for an issue that could prevent the completion of app installation when using an MDM server.

To get this update you can go to Settings > General > Software update > iOS 9.2.1. You will need at least 50% battery to install this update. The files size comes in a little over 40MB on an iPhone 6s running iOS 9.2 so it shouldn’t take too long to download.
