Apple has today seeded the fourth beta of iOS 9.3 to developers. This comes two weeks after the last release. In this version we see 3D Touch implemented in more of Apple’s apps, Night Shift, which will change the display to a more yellow color during the night, and Wi-Fi calling for Verizon users. One thing that’s new with this beta is where the Apple Pencil won’t work as a traditional stylus. Apple has confirmed that this is not a bug. Rather, they did this to make the pencil more of an art device. To us this seems a little strange. This device costs a lot and should work system wide.
To get this update developers can go to Settings > General > Software update > iOS 9.3 Beta 4.
Apple has said that they are going to re-add the ability to use it as a traditional stylus in the next beta.
This version has also fixed the issue where changing the date to January 1, 1970 would brick the phone.
