Apple has today released an update for their WWDC app. They release an update every year before WWDC. This year’s update, numbered version 5.0, brings a new dark theme. Unlike last year, this year’s icon is black with an Apple logo in the middle. The overall design is similar. However, everything it now in dark mode. This update also brings support for split viewing with other supported apps.
New with this version is a tvOS app. That means that you can now use the app from your Apple TV 4th generation to watch the live event as well as recorded seminars.
The app is available from the App Store. No Apple ID is required to open it, but a paying developer membership is required to view recordings from events. You can download the app here.
