Only until recently there were rumors that Apple would introduce three new iPhones. The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus would be the same, just one larger than the other. However, the iPhone 7 Pro was expected to have two cameras and a Smart Connector. Now, it seems like there is going to be no iPhone 7 Pro, according to a new report. Mac Otakara claims, according to many reliable sources, that we’ll only see two iPhones this year: the 7 and 7 Plus. Rather than the Pro model having all of the neat features, the Plus model is expected to get the second camera and maybe a Smart Connector.
This makes sense only having two different iPhones. Apple’s product names are starting to get a little complicated and are glad that we’ll have some sanity with the iPhone. All of this is expected to be announced September 7th and have pre-orders available on September 9th. The iPhone 7 will then launch two weeks after that.
