CES 2017: Dish Launches Android TV Streaming Box

Dish has just launched a new device, called AirTV.  This is an Android TV-powered streaming set-top box. The main purpose of this device is to allow you to stream using Dish’s Sling TV service. This box comes with four apps pre-installed: local channels, Sling TV, Netflix, and Google Play. Local channels allow you to view just that. Since this is an Android TV device, you can download and install apps from the Google Play Store and use it for more than just Sling TV.

The AirTV is available today from Dish’s website. It will cost $129 with an OTA adapter or $99 without. If you’re a Sling TV subscriber, you’ll also get 50 off the device. You can learn more here.
