iPhone Turns 10 Today

Today is the iPhone’s tenth birthday. On January 9th, 2007 Steve Jobs showed off the first iPhone to the world at Macworld in  San Francisco. At the time it was the first device of its type, creating a whole new market many companies are now in. It was Apple and their little iPhone that made everyone want a smartphone. Before, everyone was perfectly happy with a flip phone and texting with numbers keys.

To this date Apple has released 12 different iPhone models. The screen sizes have gone from 3.5 inches all the way up to 5.5 inches. Over the years we’ve seen additions that we could never live without. Some of the best features include Siri, Touch ID, front facing camera, and 3D Touch. The phone’s operating system, iOS, has also seen tremendous improvements. We got the addition of an App Store, the ability to rearrange your apps, set a wallpaper, and go back to previous apps. Later on we got a new flat style, animated wallpapers, and a control center.
